It's been over 3 years since my first testimonial for Mike and, if you've read it, you'll know that prior to meeting Mike I was somewhat wary of many consultants and the value that they can add.  It can take time to really gauge the true benefits of engaging with a 'growth' consultant, so I felt it was worth an update.

Over the last 3 years, Mike has continued to help the senior team at Trade Interchange evolve and execute our new growth strategy. Mike is equally adept in leading workshops, working 1-2-1 or simply on his own to help drive the business forward. At different stages, he's helped us in a multitude of areas - from finance to market development and from business planning to partner management. He's also helped us successfully secure funds to fuel our growth journey and even stepped in to lead our Marketing department for a time!

Like any business, the last 3 years has not been without 'bumps in the road' but Mike has helped us retain a focus on creating real value for customers in our chosen markets whilst building a truly scalable business. This has indisputably increased shareholder value.

In terms of outcomes since 2013;

  • We grew by over 25% last year!
  • We've moved into a new, bigger Head Office in Teesside, with an ever-growing team and, fellow founder, Mike Edmunds at the helm as Managing Director.
  • The revenues for our new SaaS products now outstrip those of our original offerings.
  • These new products have been successfully deployed in mainland Europe, SE Asia and Australia.
  • We've added a host of major brands to our customer base including Pizza Express, Whitbread and The Restaurant Group.

Mike will be the first to say that ultimately, it's our strategy, our software/sector expertise and our fantastic team in Teesside that that has delivered these results but Mike has fundamentally helped us change the way we think, speak and act in order to achieve this.

Mike remains involved with the business, indeed we appointed him as our non-exec Chairman back in 2014. The business results are there to be seen - with further exciting developments ahead.
